♥ baby shoot ♥ {Nomfundo, Litha & Zinathi}
Last Saturday was not the prettiest of days for a photo shoot. In fact, Saturday’s weather was a misery. That’s why it was perfect that the For Life photography team was shooting indoors, at Pixel Foundry studios in Bokaap, Cape Town. Picture this – a perfect family with a perfect toddler, all dressed in denim and white. A gorgeous mom Nomfundo (one would never say she gave birth just five months ago), a proud and protective daddy Litha, and their remarkably adorable baby Zinathi, walked in through the studio doors glowing and bursting with energy.
The blustery weather outside was soon forgotten as Nomfundo went through make up while Litha held baby Zinathi, playfully biting her chubby cheeks every now and again. Natalie and I had already been there for half an hour prepping lighting, checking reflectors and taking some test shots to make sure everything was just right for when our models stepped on to the scene. The real fun began when the Dukada family brought the screen to life. read more »

Cole is the cutest thing on two chubby legs. A few months before ‘Tenille and Justin’s’ wedding in Cape Town, we were privileged enough to shoot this close-knit family in the Tokai forest. I love the tall trees here, the way the sunlight filters through them and the decorative pine cones that adorn the forest floor. Unfortunately everything Cole found on it though, he wanted to put in his mouth! read more »
