We’re always fully prepared for a wedding – you have to be as a wedding photographer; fully charged batteries, spare batteries, spare memory cards, spare camera, tripods, shutter cable release, external flashes, diffusers, reflectors… The only thing we aren’t ever fully prepared for (as humans) is the emotional side of things. Unlike other brides in the months before their wedding day, Tenille tried everything possible to put on a few kilograms before her wedding in Cape Town! Even though she must have eaten enough bread and margarine to feed a ship full of hungry sailors, her petite frame remained unchanged. Every girl has wondered what her dream wedding proposal would be like. I think we all agree that the one knee stance and the four-word phrase of “Will you marry me?” are key features not to be excluded. However there is room for human error considering how nervous a proposal can make a man feel. It’s not every day you ask a woman to be yours, unless you’re Jacob Zuma. read more »
